Today two of my beloved ingame friends, Phantoma and Rew, 
finally got their in-game official Vana'diel wedding… 

They picked Sarutabaruta as their weddinglocation and chose Nightxade and me
to be their chaperones. Apart from the fact of being extremely honored, I actually had quite some fun chaperoning.
It gave me a nice chance to experience this FFXI-wedding concept
from a totally different perspective

The Ceremony was nice, serene and didn't take really long.
After the vows, fireworks and congratulationskisses, we all gathered for a groupshot.
Without any scrupules, the GM came and stand in the front to pose for the picture. (what a showanimal he was).

Today Legolass and me went to search for some new polished shoes to decorate our sofisticated feet.
After a talk with Enaremand in the Tavnazia Safehold (top floor (J-7)),
we were told to see Fyi Chalmwoh in the Goldsmithing guild of Mhaura.

After that you need to go to Carpenters Landing which you enter through the entrance of Jugner Forest at (J-8). 
Around (I-10) is a ???, upon clicking it will spawn some silly orc NM.

The NM is really easy peasy, Legolass was level 50 at the time and really enjoyed eating
Bullheaded Grosvez's hundred fists ability with actually no problems at all

Click the ??? once more after the NM is dead to obain the red oil 
and return back to Enaremand in the Tavnazia Safehold for your reward:

Notes:

1. The questname is "Behind the Smile"
2. You can only start the quest if you already completed the "it's raining mannequins"-quest
   and thus already obtained a mannequin.

A lot of people, including myself, are really looking forward to the upcoming FFXI expansion.
New adventures, jobs and locations are just a little part of the fun we'll be able to enjoy and explore with our ingame friends. One of the new jobs that probably will be leveled the most is "Corsair" and if you just take a look at the flamboyant AF of this job, you'll probably understand why :-)

Square Enix is also adding various new changes to the gameplay.
Besieged is just one example of the fun additions.
"Besieged is a form of Conquest on the new continent of Aradjiah. The Empire of Aht Urhgan and the beastmen of the western half of the Aradjiah continent are in a constant state of battle over this magnificent treasure–the "Astral Candescence.
Only you can protect the Astral Candescence from the beastman threat by fighting off the savage hordes. If the Astral Candescence should be taken, you must gather your fellow adventurers and storm the beastman strongholds in order to return the Empire's treasure.
So if you thought fighting for control over regions with your fellow adventurers was tough, just wait until you find yourself Besieged by hordes of monsters!"

 You can say the expectations about this Expansion are pretty high,
let's just hope SE doesn't let us down on this one

Today a very very very (read as -> one of my "best") ingame friend returned to the world of Vana'Diel.
After a small conversation, it was very clear to me that he was really back for good now(read as -> "long time").
I can't tell you how happy I am with his return. Strange thing is that all the things I was going to say to him when he'd ever come back, were instantly forgotten upon seeing him >.> lol
Anyway, I am glad he's back and best way is to pretend like he never left (which actually doesn't feel to be too far from the truth ).

When Kitanna dropped by in "Valor" to say hello and give Knivezz a warm /welcome back,
Arislan – Knivezz – Kitanna and me started to bring up all these beautiful memories we shared in our old KOS days; our very first linkshell in which we all began our FFXI journey.
It started to make me think again about how I began to play this silly game and what emotional countereffects this game has brought me ever since
