Last night I had been getting tells from various people saying that linkshells were wiping while fighting this new HNM Hydra. After about 3 hours hearing that people were still trying to kill it, I went to take a look for myself…
I guess it was fun watching it die, although I was not really impressed,
but it was rather hilarious to see all these ENDGAME linkshells standing around,
hoping and waiting to get the next shot at it 
After the Hydra became pukfood, we wanted to try one of these new Aht Urhgan BCNMs.
We found out we had to talk to SHAJAF in Whitegate who gave us the option for
a level 60 BCNM (cost 2000 ISP) or a level 75 BCNM (cost 3000 ISP).
Everyone selected the unrestricted one and got a key item.
This key item works like an orb, so if 6 people each pay 3000 ISP,
you can enter the BCNM 6 times 
The NM itself is really not hard to get to
and quite frankly, it's in fact not very difficult to kill it either.
The toughest part is that during the fight on several occasions,
the Phantom Puk will spawn about 6 phantom puk adds at once,
which will go away after some time, but in the meantime
the bard should better be quick to lullaby them,
or the person that has hate might go down within 2 seconds 
We did 5 runs and each fight took approximately 3 minutes,
so it really goes in rapid succession, especially if you know that after the fight, you get spit out again
right in front of the bcnm door, so you can reenter immediately (<–> BCNM 40 or KS30)
About the drops: 
These were actually quite good:
- Dragon Talon
- Scroll of Erase
- Behemoth Skull
were a few of the drops we got, but it's rumoured that Behemoth Hide also drops in here.
*Edit: Forgot to mention that this BCNM also gave me an EX chocobo egg,
not sure if this egg will be needed to breed it after the 24th of august,
but I am holding on to it

This BCNM is not only really fun to do, but with the (fast) ease it can be completed
and the fact that you can get the needed ISP much faster than the required amount of BS/KS (at least for me),
I am confident that this BCNM is going to be a real – farming - Hotspot.
who knows, if it drops Talon really that frequently, price of it not only will go down,
but we might even see a lot more Genie Weskits.
