and so little time…

but what to do within FFXI if you only have about 10 minutes playtime ?

Well, next to the ocasional fun blah blah in your LS you could always:

• Keep hitting the /random button until you get

  

• Buy some overprized materials (compared to the itemprice)
  and craft some signed gear with a chance of failing

  

• Go solo some critters which have some annoying move
  that in the end could easily cost yourself some XP ( <3 Shock spikes !)

  

Yes yes all great fun !

I promised some people online that I would dedicate another post to a selection of dats I use ingame. 

New faces :

• As you might have noticed out of the many screenshots on my weblog,
  I regularly change the appearance of my character and while I decided
  not to get my hairextensions in real life, I made sure I got them ingame.
  After all, this is Final Fantasy  

• Last time I replaced all the Elvaan Female faces with much more refined ones,
  now time had come to do the same with the entire Mithra race

• A lot of this faces were made by Takari, the following two are my all time favourites ! 

  

• Takari also made this fantastic Summoner outfit which he based
  on the Yuna character from FFX. If you enlarge the picture below,
  you can see with what incredible eye for detail he designed the face and outfit.
  Also notice the difference in color between the left and right eye ! just amazing   
  Btw, this is the face model I am currently using for my mithra mule "Valentina"

Clothing:

• Since I finally got my hands on a Genbu shield (thank you Valor ), I was on the lookout for a new Shield model because I was not all to keen on the Shell shield model. After some digging I found this Hylian Shield Model.

• Next are a few samples of the outfits I added.
  I especially like the Corse outfit, which I use as BLM AF for the time being.
  However, I do swap it on a regular basis with the two other costumes in the last row

Animations:

• Aaaaaah the animations, well I must say I noticed that a lot more people are putting much effort in these to make them more customized and better looking. Therefore:

1. This is the pose a mithra will get into when not moving

3. and finally, the animation I see  when a WHM taru is casting magic
