Well it happened at last, I was finally able to hit level 73 on my BLM. I am not distorting the truth when I say that I solod approximately 87% of my XP from level 63 up til now. I know I am still not 75, however the feeling that the hardest part is over now is very strong in me

I blame the Aht Urhgan expansion which clearly gives preference over brutal melee power (/hurray) and although soloing might be extraodinarily fun at the beginning, you just start craving for some party drama after a while! The only thing that really kept me going was of being able to run through Jeuno in Igqira someday. 

I promised someone yesterday that I would post a guide of the xp-solo-path I followed the past 10 levels, so here it is. I think you can solo puddings or cockroaches in Mount Z, but be careful as blizzard IV and Thunder IV only becomes available to you on 74 and 75.

Since I haven't posted in a while, I will just add some pictures I took in the last month and write a few comments next to them…

I broke my personal record on chaining while meriting, we probably went a lot higher than that, but at #178 I gave up on hitting the Screenshotbutton all the time :p

I once again had the honour to go to a wedding, this time it was a Bastokan one. Besides the happy happy joy joy feelings which you have when being together at the ceremony, most of the time these weddings take place in some area which isn't accessible by your own which provides extra exploration fun. This time the GM warped us directly into the Lighthouse in S.Gustaberg (Bubbly Berny didn't understand what he witnessed )

I did some various quests and ENMs, had some fun in helping people with some item NMs and for the first time ever, I fought a Proto-Ultima in Limbus. Eventually we won,
but I died so may times that my big buffer on RDM is in desperate need for refuelling,
otherwise Thunder III will soon be a spell which I won't be able to cast anymore    

I added this picture to prove that I do not have a fat Galka ass. Would I otherwise be able to balance on that waterleaf without any trouble? Didn't think so !

Apparently I had the "Promotion: Sergeant" quest already active in my missionlogs. I haven't done any assault since the death of Pope Johannes Paulus II and nowadays it is hard to find and motivate people to do some assaults. Most people have the highest rank already anyways (Chief Sergeant) and cherish no passion whatsoever to repeat these silly assaults
