Well it was bound to happen at some point… after a few new assault missions and countless repetitive ones, I was finally able to get to the second lieutenant rank, the ninth and currently highest rank of the Aht Urhgan Empire (Although one last rank will be added soon enough though).

I accumulated so many assault points that I couldn't help spending it on various pieces of rare/ex armor, including the yigit outfit of which I now have the complete set after obtaining the body piece last week (bloody Periqia).

There is more though; with the recent addition of the second lieutenant rank, they also added some nice items that go with this rank and which you can get by trading Imperial Standing Points to the Imperial guard. I didn't hesitate to get myself a nice shiny Perdu Blade to make Veroninja happy :)

This katana is truly amazing, the mechanics of the latent effect can be compared to the one of the Blau Dolch. The latent is triggered when TP is under 100% (including during weaponskills). While the latent is active, the katana not only gives a higher base damage, but will also activate an additional hidden effect of ACC. +5 and ATT. +10. I didn't really have to do much math to decide that the Perdu Blade would become my new permanent *good looking* off hand katana and the most beautiful part is that this katana didn't cost me a gil.

Well, I can't say I didn't work for it though, all these assaults to get to the required rank and collecting the needed 48 000 Imperial Standing points weren't exactly a walk in the park for me, but it was all well worth it. Now let's just cross our fingers that SE doesn't add too many nice items for the next rank. Actually no, they should add new fancy things ! It will however definitely take me some time to accumulate 56 000 ISP for it as I am starting from scratch again… Meanwhile I'll just keep assaulting, it's too fun anyway, besides I need the salvage points and the other fashionable looking sets anyway ;)

Everybody knows the weather in Belgium is as variable as . However, I did play quite frequently the past few weeks, so I will just give a quick overview by adding some pictures with some short comments. In chronological order:

We killed Roc to get Stam his Dryad Staff, of course no drop. Lucky charm items: Fail 1

I finally gave chocobo breeding a shot, for that I just needed to find a (not too expensive) chococard of a female chocobo in someone's Bazaar to match my Lord Joyeuse. When I finally got to match them I discovered how ugly Pistache Greenish that other Bastard Chocobo really was. If you take a look at the picture above, you can only admit that absolutely no good could come from mixing these two chocobos together. I therefore saw no alternative but to toss the egg that came as a result of their being together. SO, since I got bad luck in buying the wrong chococard, this can be considered in my opinion as Lucky charm items: Fail 2

Since I am leveling Bard as my next job, I thought it wasn't such a bad idea to already start camping for my Minstrel's coat. Well after hours of camping this mutt and a few dozen kills, it still remained stubborn in by not dropming my wanted rare/ex item. It will take some time now before I will start camping it again, meanwhile my Lucky charm items: Fail 3

While helping someone with the Castle Oztraja part of LB3, we found Tzee Xicu the Manifest roaming the gardens again. Since we were only 6 people, it was really a challenging fight. We managed to defeat him, but needless to say that he didn't give us the Astral Signa (worth 25mil), so: Lucky charm items: Fail 4

YES it finally happened, after a total of approximately 2390283 runs I finally got my first piece of AF2 !! The second pair (which I won) dropped 3 minutes before the end of dynamis. Knowing my luck, I assumed that we would be teleported out of dynamis before every single player in dynamis would have been able to pass it (a lot are usually afk, a few fell asleep,…) but no, barely five seconds before the end, I still got it ! I feel like the curse has been broken now, so AF2 bring it on ! Lucky charm items: WIN 1

Still trying to attend Limbus on a weekly basis and from Time to Time it is Ultima Time !

Finally saved up enough points to get my Gilt *ClothCraft +1* Tapestry. To make sure it would never set fire, I have placed it near the fish tank…

The Pop items for this Ring must have literally been in my storage for years, but yesterday eight people (including me) gained another piece of fancy jewelry
