Besides the (RDM) AF2 for which I am still cursed, there have been three pieces of items which I had my eye on for a while:

* Dropped by Jailer of Love in Sea
* Is (one of) the best Earring a BLM can have
* Novio is Spanish for Boyfriend
*** +/- Current price on the Shiva Server: 30 000 000 gil ***

* Is dropped in the KS99 "The Early Bird catches the worm"
* The Rare/Ex version – Velocious Belt – is still being dropped by King Arthro
* Is more a status item than anything else…
*** +/- Current price on the Shiva Server: 25 000 000 gil ***

* Can only be crafted
* Although HQing is tough, the costs of the ingredients is around 20k
*** +/- Current price on the Shiva Server: 5 000 000 gil ***

Well I thought about this a long time and finally decided to spend a lot portion of my gil on one of the items above. Let's see if you can figure out which one I bought by just following me in this strange logic:

• 2% = 2%
• Novio Earring is almost like wearing a Genie Weskit on your right ear
• Jailer of Love needs a lot of people to kill
• I could duo King Arthro with Beatrice
• Currently I am not really active in any HNM/SKY/SEA Linkshell
• With a lot of people doing salvage, they sell there Genie Weskit as soon as they acquire their Morrigan's Robe. This combined with the increased level of bonecrafters out there, make the price of Genie weskit drop drastically. On top of that I am attending Salvage as much as possible…

I got a FFXIAH message from "CDOG" of Kujata asking me if I was interesting in buying as he was saving up to buy a Kraken Club. He said he would settle for the price of 15 mil gil which seemed more than fair to me. With my irregular play and not being active in any Endgame linkshell, I felt it was better to spend 15 mil on a M. Att. +7 earring for my BLM (on which I do dynamis with and merit most of the time anyway) than to cough up 25 mil just to upgrade from a swift belt to a speed belt.

Even though I got a good price, I am still kind of sad that I wont be able now to buy a speed anymore. It will take a while before I have a decent amount of money again… I just hope the expansion will bring some new, good and enriching Clothcrafting recipes !

I still try to attend Limbus and Dynamis as much as possible and it's the same old story over and over again. The RDM AF2 pieces which I have been longing for a long time already, just refuse to drop every single time I join the Dynamis run, while the AF+1 Limbus items just pour out of the sky like rain in LaTheine…

As I got my fourth Ninja AF+1 piece, it was time to request the last part of the regular AF to regain my NPC storage possibility. While playing around in the Boyahda Tree, squashing crabs and crawlers along the way to get a coffer key, I ran into an interesting bunny (everyone knows I have an affinity for Jaggedy bunnies). I just engaged this Unut NM, without checking any info about its strength. Too bad it was an easy fight and although I had Thief subbed, it only dropped a rabbit hide and not the nice lunar subligar.

After that, I had to hurry all the way back to Selbina for a Fashion Show. After my visit to Dr Monberaux, I am getting asked a lot for modeling jobs and fashion shows. There was so much press present at this event, that eve, the maire of Selbina came to take a peek. Professional Photographer Reet (from Bastok) took some pictures for Vanaglamour. You can see one of her pictures down here. She promised me to send me the rest of the pictures as soon as the magazine gets published. I will post them when I get them

I have never had any regrets about my Tamas ring which I chose after the ending of the COP Story (2/3 of my jobs are mage jobs anyway), but since it is possible now to switch COP rings every 27 days just by dropping your ring and reentering the Marble's Tavern in Upper Jeuno, I didn't see any reason why not to give the another COP ring a trial period of a month. That's why I exchanged my Tamas Ring for a Rajas Ring last week and have been using/testing it quite intensely on my ninja ever since.

If you still don't know the stats on the COP rings by now, here are the pictures to refresh your memories:

At this point I feel that the rajas ring is luch more useful than my previous Tamas ring.
Please give me a chance to explain…

First of all there is not one magic spell in the game that requires both INT and MND at the same time, while on the other hand melee attacks and some weapon skills (such as Blade:Jin) rely heavily on both STR and DEX at the same time.

Secondly does the Subtle blow +5 and Store TP +5 traits combined seem to be much effective to me than the +30mp (which I recover by having full mp merits) and the enmity reduction (which to me isn't really visble at all).
While playing solo I can swear I very much notice the effect of subtle blow as the mob uses less TP moves. As far as the Store TP trait is concerned however, my TP keeps ending up to 98-99 TP, which still requires an extra hit/delay to get to 100. This is probably because I dual wield Unji and Perdu Blade most of the time.

At this point I seem pretty happy with my Rajas as it feels of more value to me than just an "equipment swap saver"  like the Tamas ring was for me. It's still a pitty that you can't have both of them though :'(

As I am actually a little bit tired of crafting for a marginal sum of money, I found myself farming in Sea Serpent Grotto last week (I must have a thing for dark caves >_<). SSG actually holds quite an amount of treasures. Novv's Area or the place behind the "Ornamented door" make perfect farming spots. As Ninja/thief I farm easily up to 100k/hour thanks to gilfinder, the stealing of golden beastcoins and all the WHM-BRD scrolls that drop and which all sell for an excellent (5-12k) NPC price. As an extra bonus the amount of beastman and kindred seals just keep stacking up and Beatrice's level is slowly finding its way to the level cap.

Being down there also gave me the opportunity to help several people to get their Joy-Toy.

Even while crafting is not really a big money maker right now, this doesn't mean that with all these low prices it wouldn't be a good time to skill up these last levels of my subcrafts. And finally today after a few months of inactivity on the crafting area, I at last got the followng message:

That leaves only 3 more levels of Goldsmithing and 0.7 level of Clothcraft to be done.
